OFTP2 · IMPLEMENTATION GUIDE
How to connect your company to MGR via OFTP2
This guide gathers the technical data required to set up EDI file exchange with MGR over the OFTP2 protocol (ODETTE, RFC 5024), plus the step-by-step path to production.
Data provided by MGR
- Odette ID
- O0055MGROFTP2
- Host and ports
- oftp2.mgrnet.com.br · 6619 (TLS) · 3305 (TCP)
- Public certificate
- Download certificate (.pem) → Download certificate (.cer) →
- It is the same certificate in both formats — Base64. Choose the extension your OFTP2 software accepts.
Data MGR needs from the partner
- • Partner's Odette ID (SSIDCODE) and, if different, the file Odette ID (SFIDDEST/SFIDORIG)
- • OFTP password (SSIDPSWD) the partner will use and the one it expects from MGR
- • Host and port of the partner's OFTP2 server, if MGR will call it
- • Partner's public certificate (TLS, file encryption, signing and secure authentication)
- • Session preferences: secure authentication, encryption, signing, compression and signed EERP
- • Names of the virtual files (SFIDDSN) to be exchanged
Step by step to production
01
Identity and certificate exchange
Each side sends its Odette ID, OFTP password and digital certificate to the other.
02
Configuration
MGR registers the partner with the data above, in each agreed direction.
03
Homologation test
Test sessions and files in both directions, with EERP validation, before any real document.
04
Production
Once certification is approved, EDI files start flowing for real.
05
Monitoring
Continuous monitoring of sessions and of sent and received files.
